The Gao Family.
Tracy Gao approached me in 2021 to create a portrait of her family: herself, her sister, mother, father, maternal and paternal grandparents. It was a tremendous honor to work with them and challenge myself to create this piece, the scale of which I had not attempted before.
Completed: July 2022.
Measures: 20 x 30 inches.
Materials: graphite, chalk pastel, eyeshadow, velvet, paper.
